Paul started in hospital radio in Glasgow where his style is credited with freeing valuable NHS beds by making patients desperate to leave early and go home!

He first joined Radio Clyde in Glasgow, whilst still a student, doing weekend overnights for insomniacs (first show nerves saw a song dedicated to any “necrophiliacs” listening), and he then moved on to front all daytime shows.

Thanks to his Mum, and a lot of postage stamps, he was voted Scottish Radio Personality Of The Year. It was a quiet year.

Since then Paul has just about stayed one step ahead of the tax man working for Radio Scotland, Radio Two, Radio Four and LBC in London.

He is happiest mixing music with interviewing, and entertaining anyone who is easily amused.

Paul currently present the Drivetime show (4pm - 8pm) on Smooth Radio London.

An arm, a leg, a finger. Even an ankle would do.”
